Refund Policy

FotoKaki is operated by Techlaju Sdn Bhd (โweโ, โusโ, โourโ).
1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains when Techlaju Sdn Bhd may issue refunds for payments made for FotoKaki subscriptions, one-time Event Passes, extra seats, and usage overage charges processed through CHIP (chip-in.asia).
By purchasing a paid plan, you agree to this Policy alongside our Terms & Conditions.
2. Free plan
The free tier does not require payment. No refunds apply because no charge is made.
3. One-time Event Pass
Event Pass purchases are generally non-refundable once the pass is activated or the event period has started, because:
- Access is provisioned immediately upon successful payment
- Storage, bandwidth, and platform resources are allocated for your event window
Exceptions โ we may issue a full or partial refund if:
- You were charged in error or duplicated
- The Service was materially unavailable for a significant portion of your paid event window due to a fault on our side
- You cancel before the pass is activated and before any kiosk usage has occurred โ contact us within 24 hours of purchase
4. Monthly subscriptions (Pro, Business, etc.)
Subscription fees are billed in advance for each billing period. Selected plans may include a minimum commitment (e.g. 3 months) as stated on the pricing page.
- During minimum term: fees already paid are non-refundable. You may cancel effective after the minimum term ends.
- After minimum term: you may cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the current paid period. We do not refund unused days in a billing period unless required by law or at our discretion.
- Downgrades take effect at the next renewal; we do not refund the difference for the current period.
5. Extra seats & usage overage
Charges for additional seats or monthly usage overage (photos, storage) are based on actual provisioned capacity or measured usage. These charges are non-refundable once the billing period has closed, except where a billing error occurred.
6. Service issues & downtime
If a prolonged outage caused by FotoKaki infrastructure prevents reasonable use of your paid workspace, contact us with your workspace name, date, and description. After verification, we may offer:
- Service credit toward a future invoice, or
- A partial refund at our reasonable discretion
We are not responsible for issues caused by your internet connection, event hardware, third-party payment failures, or misuse of the platform.
7. Chargebacks & disputes
If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us first at techlajuswk@gmail.com or via WhatsApp +60 12-883 8318 before initiating a chargeback. Unfounded chargebacks may result in account suspension.
8. How to request a refund
Email us with:
- Your registered account email and workspace name
- Date and amount of the payment
- CHIP receipt or transaction reference (if available)
- Reason for the refund request
We aim to respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method via CHIP where possible. Processing times by banks or card issuers may take an additional 5โ14 business days.
9. Account termination
If we terminate your account for breach of our Terms, no refund is owed for unused subscription time. If you terminate voluntarily, the rules in sections 3โ5 above apply.
10. Changes
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page. Changes apply to future purchases; the policy in effect at the time of your payment governs that transaction unless law requires otherwise.
